I’m a pastor’s husband.  A few years ago that was a very unusual statement to make.  If you are a baby boomer (or older) and a Protestant Christian you probably went to church with your folks and the pastor was always a man.

But today (2009) this is no longer true.  In most mainstream Protestant Christian denominations there are hundreds of women pastors who serve with passion and compassion.
